Louise is delighted to be selected as the candidate for Lewisham East. She lived in South East London for many years and understands the issues people care about from tackling crime to supporting local businesses to grow.
Louise was inspired to serve by her father and grandfather, both long-serving councillors. She is proud to have continued this service as a Borough Councillor, Association Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Women’s Organisation.
Louise’s priorities focus on getting the best deal for our area:
- tackling crime and working with neighbourhood policing teams,
- fighting LTNs and universal 20mph zones,
- protecting parks and green spaces, delivering greater penalties for fly-tipping,
- supporting local businesses and thriving High Streets,
- continuing to support investment in local schools.
Following a career in international business, Louise retrained as a primary school teacher as she is passionate about providing opportunities for young people. Louise is married with two children, and enjoys walks with her husband and Bruno, their lively labrador. Louise is looking forward to working with the fantastic Lewisham team!
