The results are in and we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped throughout the campaign: from knocking-on doors to dropping leaflets, to all the candidates who stood and everyone who helped behind-the-scenes.
We are a small team and Lewisham is a tough borough for the Conservatives, but we have put up a long, hard-fought campaign.
Since selecting candidates in June 2025, ahead of every other party, we delivered an outstanding campaign across the ground and airwaves:
- 39,500 leaflets delivered since April (!)
- 54,200 leaflets in total delivered since June 2025
- 54 candidates across 54 seats (the only opposition party in Lewisham to do so)
- hustings, surveys, debates and local media: x5 interviews/stories (+ many more podcasts interviews with Sylbourne) + city-wide: a right-to-reply in CityAM on Why Lewisham needs a real opposition, not a Labour-Green merry-go-round
- a social and digital campaign reaching tens of thousands of people across the borough
- and a surge in local members
Our main focus was Grove Park and Sylbourne’s mayoral campaign, but we expanded the campaign across Lewisham, including Downham, Lewisham Central, Brockley, New Cross Gate, etc.
This is about building something bigger in the borough, it’s a long road, but this campaign did exactly that. Now we prepare and get ready to take the fight to the Green Party.
