Our Lewisham Conservative mayoral candidate, Sylbourne Sydial, has been interviewed by local Lewisham news publisher — EastLondonLines:
Sydial’s background is as an entrepreneur, lawyer, content creator and motivational speaker. Back in 2015, Sydial launched a talkshow, and he also runs a programme called Politics and You, which is an initiative to educate and empower young people to get engaged in politics.
“Being a Conservative in Lewisham has been tough,” Sydial told Eastlondonlines. “But that is changing.”
Eastlondonlines is an independent local news website serving the diverse communities of four London boroughs: Lewisham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Croydon. It is produced by journalism students at Goldsmiths, University of London, guided by the experienced journalists who teach them.
