Sydenham resident Ross Archer has been selected as the Prospective Conservative candidate for Mayor of Lewisham ahead of next year’s local elections. Ross has lived in Lewisham for over twenty years and has played an active role in the community; as a School Governor, Charity Trustee and Scout Leader. Ross works as a Manager for a not-for-profit organisation.

Lewisham Deptford Conservatives have named Andy Hughes and James Clark as their candidates in the forthcoming Brockley and Evelyn ward by-elections. These by-elections are a chance to elect a strong opposition to the dominate Labour group on the council. Both by-elections take place on the 13th October 2016. Polls will be open between 7am and 10pm.
